It looks like I might not have school tomorrow because of the snow. XD
So here is a small list of things that one can do in the event of a snow day
1. First and most importantly get right back into bed- if its snowing bad enough that they cancel school I would advise you to sleep lots
2. Get work done- XD
3. Shovel Snow- XD
I'm too tired right now to think of more

Something New I've learned...
So I would like a few visitors on my blog since I feel lonely, this caused me to do a little search about how google decides what web pages to crawl. (Crawling basically means google indexes your site, which allows it to come up in a search)
Anyways I found this Site which talks about how to list your site with google. Its not fool proof, but its a start. Besides it takes a lot of work to get your site noticed.

Poetry Untitled
In the land of linen where my mind lies
I look up to see the blue and white striped sky
crossed over with deep, glossy black lines
If only I had the wings to fly
I'd be able to read the dreams of mine

This poem has been swimming around in my head for a few days now, so I figured I'd write it down.
Alyssa just realized ...
My views count under my page views...meaning

Good Morning All
Good morning my imaginary audience
Its a beautiful snowy Saturday morning here though I've heard that the snow really hit the Washington-Baltimore area. Hopefully it doesn't cause too many problems and everyone stays safe.
I'd love to hear about anyone with a snow story old or recent. Feel free to post links or stories in the comments ^^
I'll post something else later today. Maybe another tutorial or FAQs or if I get any requests for an article I'll post that.

What I'm watching
Currently I have been watching Naoki Urasawa's Monster, which is a mystery/thriller anime about the neurosurgeon Dr. Tenma and a serial murder case in which he is deeply involved. I don't want to ruin too much about the anime/manga, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys mysteries. Its quickly becoming one of my new favorites.
Why Magically Mundane?
It seems to describe my life perfectly. Its both mundane and strangely magical at times.
It would be much more magical though if I could get some comments. ^^
Why miserable in your subtopic? Obviously because I have no comments XD

Imaginary FAQs
1. Why blog? Why should I subscribe to your blog?
Well, that's a good question. First you should subscribe to my blog because I'll often be posting useful info and tutorials. I blog because I find it fun, its a way to make money(hopefully), and I'm bored.
2. You're young, how do you know how to make money, save money, and where to find free stuff?
I know about a lot of things because I've been searching for ways to make money and etc, so basically experiences.
3. So what do you like to do?
Well obviously I am interested in graphic art, but I also loved reading, anime and manga, online sites, blogging, origami, nail polish, technology, video games, and a whole lot of other things.
I have very broad interests ^^
4. Pepsi or Coke?
Coke
I'll post more Imaginary FAQs later.

That font tutorial I was talking about....
So you downloaded gimp and now you want some free fonts? Well I have a nifty tutorial to show you how
Step 1: Go to a site like dafont.com

Step 2: Choose the font you want...a free one

Step 3: Download the Font to your Computer, I'd recommend creating a folder just for downloaded fonts for organization. Make sure you save the file, not just open it.

Step 4: Once saved you need to open the folder with the font and extract it. Your computer should be able to extract the file or you can use a free program like IZArc, more about that later. Once extracted you should see the extracted files in your folder.

Step 5: Copy the extracted files, the file types are usually truetype font files. Make sure you don't copy the txt document they usually come with.

Step 6: Now find your program in your downloads folder(or elsewhere) and find the font folder. Once there simply paste the files in your folder, and you're done.

Money is all good and well, but...
Now that I've tackled the money topic now for something must more fun
Blogging isn't my only online hobby; that would just be silly :p
I also love graphic design, and I'm fairly clever at what I do, so I guess I'll share my tips
1. MS paint is fun, but not useful- If you are looking to get started in amateur graphic design you definitely should download a program with more capabilities
Luckily I know a few good ones
- http://www.photobie.com/about/about.php
-http://paint.net
Of course I saved the best for last ^^ I use gimp for all of my graphic design. You should have a good feel for what you want to do if you are going to use gimp, but it is a very good quality program, which you can download for free
2. Now that you have your program, you'll need brushes and fonts- Brushes and fonts are the spice of graphic design. A good brush can add life to your picture while a good font can make everything look professional
Again, luckily for you I have good sites for both fonts and brushes
First the brushes
Amazing free brush collects
Then fonts
http://www.dafont.com
I'll be sure to add a tutorial or something to show you how to download and configure all your goodies later ^^
3. About the file types
When you create images you should know what extensions to use
.jpg- pretty basic 24 bit pictures, no transparency
.png- (my favorite) 24 or 48 bit, high quality, allows transparent images
.gif- Good for animation, not much else
Now I could keep going on and on about these things, but I'll save that for another post ^^

Making Money
Here's a topic which is very interesting...
How to make money online
I'm sure many people, myself included would love to make some cash online. I've tried a ton of stuff before and usually it hasn't worked, but I will share my knowledge with you because I'm awesome :3
Here are a few rules
1. NEVER spend money on anything NEVER period - if you are spending cash to make cash its almost always a scam and the biggest thing that will happen is you will end up getting charged a monthly fee even though it claimed to only cost $19.99
2. Patience is necessary- Unless you can become popular quickly it will probably take you forever to make anything
3. Keep at it- Don't give up, if you give up you'll get no money
4. Because its important NEVER EVER spend money to make money
5. The first thing you should do is make a new email account to use when signing up to sites- Why?
You WILL definitely get tons of spam emails
Now for the fun part, you want to start right?
Here are a few sites which can make you a profit
Gather
Gather is a site where you can potentially earn rewards for sharing media with others. Its very confusing and I don't recommend it as my first choice.
Mylot
Mylot is a site where users comment on topics and posts. I believe the current price is $.01 per post. If you have a lot of time and love talking Mylot is the perfect site for you. I would recommend this site just for fun even if you weren't looking to make money.

Unique Rewards is the best "survey" site I've been on. For the most part you can make easy free money and even save on shopping. I definitely would recommend this site to anyone who is really serious about earning money online.

So I've added some stuff
Making a blog is not easy work especially if you want a decent one with a ton of fun stuff, but don't worry I'm going to work all day updating and adding all sorts of things on this blog.
Some things to look forward to...
FAQs, or the ones I'd imagine I'd add if anyone ever asked me anything
Info about what I do
and a plethora of anything else I enjoy

Time: Getting Close to Midnight
So I decided sometime around 11:00pm to create a blog describing my disorderly and often strange life. It probably wasn't the smartest move considering the fact that I have to wake up early tomorrow, but I'm happy with how it came out. This whole thing actually comes from one of my many schemes to make money online. So far nothing for me has worked, but you never know maybe one day I'll be struck by lighting figuratively speaking of course.
Anyway I'll add more tomorrow. I ensure you that I have a ton of interesting and sometime insightful things to say; just not necessarily at 11:30 at night. For now I'm content with setting this whole thing up. Maybe tomorrow I'll make my own layout if I'm not too busy. Till then
oh and feel free to follow me ^^
